Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Widget.vn platform, including the API, admin dashboard, and embedded widgets provided by Widget.vn. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Widget.vn provides an embeddable widget platform for websites, including:

• Embeddable UI widgets (maps, VietQR payments, job boards, reviews, etc.)
• Admin dashboard for configuring and managing widgets
• API for programmatic integration
• CDN for widget code delivery

3. Accounts

3.1. Registration

You need to create an account to use the service. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Keeping your login credentials and API keys secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

3.2. API Keys

API keys are confidential. Do not share API keys publicly. If you suspect an API key has been compromised, generate a new one immediately through the dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Widget.vn to:

• Distribute content that violates Vietnamese law
• Send spam or fraudulent content through widgets
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users' data
• Abuse the API (exceeding rate limits, DDoS attacks)
• Embed widgets on websites with illegal content
• Collect personal data without authorization through widgets

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1. Free Plan

The free plan includes a limited number of widgets and views. No credit card required.

5.2. Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Payments are non-refundable, except in cases of prolonged service disruption due to our fault.

5.3. Taxes

Listed prices do not include VAT (if applicable). You are responsible for applicable taxes.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Platform

Widget.vn owns all rights to the platform, including widget source code, UI designs, APIs, and documentation. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service during your subscription.

6.2. Your Content

You retain full ownership of content you add to widgets (images, text, store data, etc.). You grant us the right to use this content solely to provide the service.

7. Service Availability

• Free plan: No SLA commitment. Service is provided “as-is.”
• Paid plans: We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime, but do not guarantee it absolutely.
• We may suspend the service for maintenance with advance notice when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• Widget.vn is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
• Our maximum liability does not exceed the total fees you have paid in the most recent 12 months
• We are not responsible for content you display through widgets

9. Termination

9.1. By You

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support. Widgets will stop working immediately upon account cancellation.

9.2. By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with 7 days email notice (except for serious violations requiring immediate action).

9.3. After Termination

After termination, you have 30 days to export your data. After this period, data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Any disputes will be resolved at the competent courts in Vietnam.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
