  • Payment information (securely processed through our payment partner)

2.2. Widget Usage Data

When widgets are embedded on your website, we collect:

  • Widget view counts and interactions (clicks, form submissions)
  • URL of the page where the widget is embedded
  • Basic browser and device information (no browser fingerprinting)

2.3. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect personal information from your website visitors, unless they voluntarily submit it through a widget (e.g., contact form, email subscription). That data belongs to you.

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and operate the widget service
  • Improve widget performance and features
  • Send service notifications and technical support
  • Detect and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use data for targeted advertising.

4. Cookies and Browser Storage

Our embedded widgets may use localStorage to save UI state (e.g., chat bubble open/close status, language preferences). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

The widget.vn website uses session cookies necessary for the admin dashboard to function.

  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection for widget delivery
  • Payment partner — Secure payment processing (we do not store card information)

  • Per-account data isolation (tenant isolation)
  • Access control and API key authentication
  • Regular database backups

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Account data is stored for the duration of your service usage. When you delete your account:

  • Personal data and widget configurations will be deleted within 30 days
  • Aggregated statistics (anonymized) may be retained
  • Backups will be deleted on rotation cycle (maximum 90 days)
